Dios está interesado aun en los pequeños detalles. God is concerned even in small details. Él le especificó a Moisés que debía hacer dos trompetas y que cada una de ellas debía hacerse de una sola pieza de plata. He specified that Moses had to do two trumpets and that each should be made of one piece of silver. Estas trompetas no eran solamente para llamar a asamblea y para indicar el comienzo y el final de un día de marcha, sino que eran usadas también para comenzar una batalla y en ocasiones especiales. These trumpets were not just to call meeting and to indicate the beginning and end of a day's march, but were also used to start a battle and on special occasions. Dios en realidad prometió que cuando la trompeta fuera tocada en tiempos de batalla, el libraría a su pueblo de sus enemigos (Número 10:9). God actually promised that when the trumpet was played in times of battle, would deliver his people from their enemies (Number 10:9).

El hacer sonar las trompetas de plata es un símbolo de la oración. The blowing of the trumpets of silver is a symbol of prayer. Las trompetas del jubileo mencionadas en el libro de Levítico eran un símbolo de la predicación del Evangelio. The trumpets of the jubilee mentioned in the book of Leviticus were a symbol of preaching the Gospel. Podemos estar seguros de que cuando oramos, el Señor nos recuerda y nos libra de los asaltos de Satanás y de sus malos ángeles. We can be sure that when we pray, the Lord reminds us and frees us from the assaults of Satan and his evil angels. Así como una trompeta emite un sonido agudo y agradable, nuestras oraciones deben contener no solamente pedidos sino también una gozosa alabanza tributada a Dios por su bondad. As a trumpet makes a sound sharp and pleasant, our prayers should include not only orders but also a joyful praise bestowed on God for his goodness.

Las dos trompetas de plata se usaron por primera vez para iniciar a los hijos de Israel en su marcha por el desierto del Sinaí. The two silver trumpets were first used to start the children of Israel in their march through the Sinai desert. Era el plan de Dios de que ellos viajaran por la ruta de Cades directamente a la tierra de Canaán, pero debido a la desobediencia, tuvieron que vagar por el desierto durante cuarenta años. It was God's plan that they travel on the road to Cades directly to the land of Canaan, but because of disobedience, they had to wander the desert for forty years. Solamente dos espías fieles, Josué y Caleb, estaban vivos para pasar a la tierra prometida. Only two faithful spies, Joshua and Caleb, were alive to move to the promised land. Ni aun a Moisés se le permitió entrar. Not even Moses was allowed to enter. Sin embargo, el fue resucitado de los muertos y está en el cielo hoy en día (mateo 17:3), como representante y anticipo de todos los que murieron creyendo en Jesús, los cuales serán resucitados cuando él regrese a la tierra. However, he was resurrected from the dead and in heaven today (Matthew 17:3), as representative and payment of all who died believing in Jesus, who will be resurrected when he returns to earth.

El sonido de las trompetas de plata podía ser escuchado por todo el campamento de Israel, y cuando el pueblo lo oía, tenía que obedecer. The sound of silver trumpets could be heard throughout the camp of Israel, and when the people heard him, had to obey. De la misma manera, necesitamos obedecer la voz de Dios cuando él nos habla por medio de su palabra y en oración. Similarly, we need to obey God's voice when he speaks to us through His word and prayer.
